Midnight in Maui – Ukumehame
A long exposure of the legendary kiawe tree at Ukukumehame Beach Park on a moonlit night in West Maui, Hawaii.
Description
We arrived at Ukumehame Beach Park, home to one of Maui’s most iconic trees, around midnight. With an unobstructed full moon in the sky, we set up our gear and fired off several shots. After a couple of attempts, I looked at the screen on the back of my camera, and I was totally blown away. One of the longer exposures transformed night into day, revealing a stunning scene and a bright blue sky.
